In early January, Catherine and I sat down together and wrote a few notes for a post we planned to publish within a few days regarding some changes we’re making to our blog this year. Who knew we wouldn’t publish that post until mid-March….???!!! 2016 has been gotten off to a very busy start.
Catherine and I are making a few changes to our Textile Mavens website/blog, Textile Mavens, and I have a new website – a work in progress – fernroycequilting.com, detailing my work, teaching/lecture schedule, etc. Catherine and I will use this site as an “inspirational” site – with quilt show reviews, books, interviews of other quilters, artists, events – things we hope you will find interesting and entertaining. If you have thoughts about who or what you would like us to include, please contact us – we welcome your ideas and suggestions.
On that note, this weekend is the East Bay Heritage Quilters Voices in Cloth exhibit at the Craneway Pavilion, 1414 Harbour Way South on the Richmond Waterfront. It is a fun and inspiring show with the added benefit of great views of the bay.
We hope to see you there!
